Hazle A406399

Located At: Sonoma County Animal Services

Description: I am a neutered male, red and white Siberian Husky.

Age: I am estimated to be about 8 years old.

Weight: I weigh approximately 58 pounds.

More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 11, 2022.

Hazle is a handsome, 8-year-old, Red Husky mix. He is a fluffball with the funniest personality. He loves to get belly rubs and attention from people. He has shown us that he is a little picky when it comes to hanging out with other dogs and may need longer introductions. We are recommending he go into an adult only home.

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
