Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**The first step to adopting from MO Min Pin Rescue, is to complete the online adoption application. A good vet reference and heartworm prevention are required.
We do not arrange transport, and you will be responsible for coming to us to get your dog.
Jett is a super sweet, loving, and loyal boy. He is approximately 7 years old and weighed 17 pounds at his last vet visit. He has a docked tail and natural ears. He is lower energy and plays once in a while but would rather be snuggling.
If he hears the doorbell he can be barky. He likes to watch out the window and guard the house. He is fine with cats and dogs. Not kid-tested. He tends to pick a favorite person and wants to be by their side. He is very sensitive to loud noises and yelling and becomes scared and will hide. He is intimidated and fearful of things over his head. You have to sit down or get down to his level to gain his trust. You have to move slowly when putting on a harness or hooking him up to a leash. He is very cautious and timid at times. He thinks he is a lap dog and wants to be snuggling as much as possible.
He seems to be fine with all people as long as you go slow and gain his trust. He is mostly potty trained and will whine to go outside. He LOVES all food and treats and is very motivated for any type of snack. He would be an excellent dog for a low or high-energy family. He walks fine on a leash but tends to want to lead the walk. He can be stubborn from time to time and has backed out of his harness and leash if he doesn’t want to go.
As with a lot of Min Pins, Jett can be an escape artist, so being mindful of this is important.
Fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.
Jett is located in the St. Louis area, and his adoption fee is $275.00.
