This happy go lucky girl is instantly friends with everyone she meets! She's always ready to play - whether that's with the kids in her foster home, the other dogs, or even with toys by herself - she's ready for some fun! She does great with other animals - although she's a little curious about the cats. She's really bonded with the 9 year old human in her foster home and would be great for a young family! Finland knows her name, is potty trained, and knows some basic commands - like sit and shake. As a poodle mix, Finland will require regular grooming to keep her coat looking nice and matte free. Her coat was in rough shape when she came to us, and she had to be completely shaved. But with regular maintenance and grooming appointments, we're sure she could have a beautiful coat.
Finland's adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and preventatives plus a FREE basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered, and kept current on annual vaccinations and testing with a preference for those that also provide monthly preventatives. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit. If you are interested in meeting Finland, please submit an adoption application for consideration, and we look forward to scheduling an introduction!
