Marnie is te sweetest girl whose personality captured the hearts of everybody who had the pleasure to meet her, from shelter workers and volunteers to foster parents and transporters. Marnie found herself in a kill shelter shortly after having puppies (that were not found) and we were contacted to help her. Like most shelter dogs in the south, she tested positive for heartworm and we have treated her for it. She has also been spayed, so no more puppies to worry about. Marnie is now ready and eager to meet the family of her own that will love her forever.
Marnie is the cutest mix of a shepherd with maybe a rottie and a chow (responsible for the blue tongue) - we can only guess. She is sweet, happy, quiet and gentle - overall just a good girl. She is great with other dogs and we guess that she would probably be OK with cats too (we don't have cats to test her with). Marnie is housebroken and well-behaved in the house. She weighs around 50lbs. Marnie is up-to-date on shots and spayed too. She is looking forward to meeting her forever family.
It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children, no exceptions. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption.
