Quince is a Lab/Terrier mix with the most soulful puppy eyes you’ve ever seen! This sweet guy is equal parts snuggle buddy and playmate, always ready to melt your heart with his gentle gaze and loving nature.

Quince is fantastic with other dogs—he's playful but respectful of boundaries, getting along especially well with the female Pit Bull in his foster home. He’s already making great strides with his training! He knows commands like "sit," "down," "shake," and is getting good at "stay." He’s still learning leash manners, so having a backyard to play in would be ideal as he continues practicing his walks. He also kennels very well and sleeps in his kennel at night.

Quince thrives in a home where he can be close to his people, getting all the attention and love he deserves. Whether he’s playing outside or cozying up for some downtime, he’ll bring endless joy to the right person or family. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and heart-melting friend, Quince is ready to be your new best buddy!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Please come see us at Petsmart on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Eagan (Petsmart 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121); 4th Saturday of each month in Richfield (Petsmart 1100 W 78th St, Richfield, MN 55423); and the 3rd Sunday of each month in Maple Grove (Petsmart 11200 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369). We will have many adoptable dogs, puppies, and maybe a kitten or two that are able to attend for public viewing... please stop in and play! If you are interested in a specific dog or cat from viewing our available animals at wagsmn.org, please email us in advance of an adoption event (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com), and we will do our best to have them at the event.
