Meet Quince, a fun-loving one-year-old mixed breed with a unique look and a charming personality! His distinctive black and white markings have earned him the affectionate nickname "Cow Dog." Quince is full of energy and joy, making him a perfect companion for an active and fun-loving young couple.

Quince is well-trained in several commands. He knows how to sit, shake, and kennel up on command. While he's working on mastering the stay command, he's already potty-trained and ready for indoor living. Quince loves learning new things and with a bit of patience, he'll continue to impress with his intelligence.

He enjoys being petted and will happily snuggle up for some affection. He does well with other social dogs and has so far ignored the dog savvy cat that lives in the foster home. He has a more rough and tumble playstyle and would be a great playmate for another young, active dog.

Quince needs some assistance with leash training, so a dedicated owner who can work with him on this will be ideal. His playful nature and love for adventure make him a great companion for outdoor activities once he's more comfortable on a leash.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Please come see us at Petsmart on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Eagan (Petsmart 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121); 4th Saturday of each month in Richfield (Petsmart 1100 W 78th St, Richfield, MN 55423); and the 3rd Sunday of each month in Maple Grove (Petsmart 11200 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369). We will have many adoptable dogs, puppies, and maybe a kitten or two that are able to attend for public viewing... please stop in and play! If you are interested in a specific dog or cat from viewing our available animals at wagsmn.org, please email us in advance of an adoption event (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com), and we will do our best to have them at the event.
