Hi there, I’m Tessa, a 3-year-old brown pit bull. I am a younger gal full of playful energy. You can see by my photos that my motto is “sun’s out, tongues out”!

I’m eager to please and I love to learn new things. I would benefit from obedience training to keep me from pulling on the leash and to teach me other manners. I am treat-motivated and will likely learn quickly. I also need to firm up on my potty training, but I am already crate trained. I’m looking for an active and loving owner who can give me the attention and affection I deserve.

I’m a loyal and adorable companion who will make you happy and proud. I’m good with children and cats, but I’m selective with other dogs. It can be difficult to tell which dogs I like because I have a rough and rowdy play style which is loud and boisterous. It may seem like I am going to fight with the other dog when all I want to do is play. I have an Akita friend with the same play style, and we love to romp together! Do you have a rompy doggo that might like to play with me? I enjoy playing in general, going on walks, getting belly rubs, and going on car rides. I was rescued from Memphis Animal Services right before euthanasia and am now ready to find a home of my own.
I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I’m currently being boarded in Smyrna, TN, but I can be transported out of state if you’re the right match for me.
