My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boy, oh boy! Do I have a story to tell! In my young life I have already had two owners. My first owner's home caught on fire. The fire department arrived and put out the fire. They helped my owner the best that they could. My owner packed up what was left and moved away. There were several of us waiting at the burned out house. Fortunately one of the kind firemen came back to check on us and discovered that we had been abandoned. He brought us to the shelter where we were all adopted after a short time! YAY! I was with my new family for several months, but they broke up and no one wanted to keep me. So here I am back at MHS hoping to get it right this time! I am a terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I am what they call a teenage puppy so be ready for some active and fun times with me!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
