“EMBRACE THE IMPERFECTION”

Good morning, boys and girls. My name is Seren. I am a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix and found myself pregnant on the streets of Texas. I am happy to announce that on March 10, 2024, I gave birth to four healthy puppies, all of which have since found their forever homes.

I’m currently residing with multiple dogs, however, I do get a little jealous when other dogs approach my human. So although I would be great in a home with other dogs, I would also be OK in a home as the only princess. I don’t want to live in the past so I would prefer not to discuss my life previous to NorthStar Pet Rescue, but I am a little untrusting of people at first. As a result, I would do best in an adult only household with slow introductions to visitors. I would do best in a home with someone who is dog savvy, only because I do get nervous and need someone that is going to be understanding and patient. I am house trained, I am not destructive, and I am a fun, quirky, little girl who will make you laugh every day.

I know I may not be perfect, and I may have flaws, but my motto is “Embrace the imperfection”.

The first step is to submit an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org. Volunteers will process your application. Please be patient!

In a very very small number of situations, a home check may be needed if we have any questions or concerns after processing the application.

A meet and greet will be arranged for approved applicants with you and your entire family including your current pets.

Adult Dog: 375.00
Senior Dog: 200.00
Puppy: 375.00 + 100.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit
All adopters must complete application and be approved by the rescue.

In many areas of the country, especially in the South, the situation for animals is desperate: Chained outside and starving, homeless and running loose, or just simply no longer wanted and abandoned in an overburdened and underfunded facility that can’t possibly take another. We are 100% dedicated to operating in an safe, transparent, and ethical manner and to ensuring the best veterinary practices are followed with regards to the care and transport of our animals.
