Leopold is absolutely amazing. He is extremely laid back and such a gentleman. I pulled him from Animal Control this morning because he was on his "death's door date".
He was okay meeting a stranger "me", and didn't pull as we walked to the truck. Opened the tailgate and told him to "Hup" and up he went.
He had a couple of barks on the 15 mile trip to our kennels, but he didn't mind being in the back. He also waited when I opened the tailgate to unload him. Didn't dismount until invited.
He will be in chill mode for the next three days and he is barking in the kennel. During this time I will be making every effort to find his owner and figure out what brought him to Greene County.
Leopold will be assessed this Friday. He currently seems very laid back, and a little shy, though he has been great with all the new stuff thrown at him so far.
Not a worker, I see more of a snuggler.
And he was picked up with a small female terrier.
