Born in November 2023, Vallie is growing into a happy, healthy dog. While living in a foster home, she learned how to be a loving companion. Now that she is at the shelter she is learning how to live with other dogs. She has discovered she really likes to play with her canine pals. Vallie has lots of energy and can keep up with the pack. She rides well in the car and likes to go for long walks. Vallie loves getting attention from people. She is an outgoing girl eager for her forever home where she can be a happy, lovable companion.

Located in the Mission area, Cinderella Pet Rescue, as an all-volunteer organization, schedules appointments for people to meet the animals at the shelter or in a foster home. Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
