My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DORITO was a semi-feral that someone trapped with the intention of keeping. Unfortunately, his roommate didn't agree so Dorito was surrendered to us. Having spent some extra time with her foster family, we have seen her true personality blossom.
Dorito is a shy girl but once she gets to know you, she is quite chatty and will pour on the love. She loves to play with other cats and feels more confident having a kitty sibling to follow so she needs a home with a friendly cat buddy. Best in an adult-only home or with older kods. Dorito is about 1 year old, spayed and up to date on vaccines. Tested negative for FIV/Leukemia. Adoption $100. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org.

Go meet their pets

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
