My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frankie is a very sweet and chill 8 year old, 13 pound dachshund, chihuahua, spaniel mix. I adopted him in 2018 and he has been a really excellent companion. When at home with people he's very independent and happy to do his own thing and mostly sleeps most of the day. Lying in a big spot of sun or slowly sniffing the grass are his absolute favorite past times, but he's also capable of going on long hikes and walk and I've even taken him running (he can run surprisingly fast for his short legs!).

Frankie is very well trained and knows lots of commands. Unfortunately he struggles with being left alone, and I have a really busy schedule and live in an apartment where him barking while I’m gone bothers the neighbors. He’d be great with someone who is around the house a lot and doesn’t share walls with others.

Frankie is a really sweet guy, but unfortunately our lifestyles are mismatched. Please get in touch if you think you might be able to provide him a good home!
