My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duo! He is a friendly DSH orange tabby male who cherishes cheek rubs and rump scratches. He is a human lover for sure. He gets anxious around lots of activity and prefers a safe enclosed space like a hut or cubby when things get too noisy, but still wants attention. He's an independent guy, but has learned to share the large room with other kitties. He prefers his own bed, and expects other kitties to respect his space. He does not care for the younger/teen kittens as they are prone to getting in his bubble space unknowingly. Ideally, he'd love being the only pet. If an opportunity exists with an open door or window, he'll take advantage and escape so please keep him safely indoors. He enjoys spending time watching birds outside and smelling the fresh air thru the screened window. His estimated DOB is 6/01/16. He needs his human to be patient and yet involved with him and keep him active with toys and love, and make him feel safe. He has a sensitive digestion system, so serving only a wet food diet assures he is getting the added water in his diet that he needs (no dry food). He does best on chicken wet food without grains or additives, e.g., Applaws Chicken Breast in Broth, Weruva Funky Chunky Chicken Soup with Pumpkin, or similar canned foods, or he can get diarrhea. He recently had a dental procedure which will encourage him to enjoy his food once again. Once you give him some time to get acclimated and build on creating a relationship, he will be the sweetest best friend forever and won't want you to leave his side. He needs a calm adult home; perhaps older gentle respectful kids may be ok (12+ years). He DOES NOT LIKE DOGS. A gradual introduction is required in a new environment, in addition to following the detailed instructions outlined by Wild Blue Cats!
