Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Luther is a goofy, happy, and playful boy who loves his humans, showing off his fast-as-lightning zoomies in the play yard, and taking dips in the doggy pool. Here’s what volunteers have said:
“I had Luther and his kennelmate out in a yard today. Luther was SUPER SWEET and affectionate! He came over and laid his head in my lap as I scratched his face and ears. He was mellow, gentle, and laid back.”
“Luther is a really nice boy. A really easy, pleasant walking buddy.”
“Luther is mellow and sweet. He enjoys taking his time on walks and sniffing as he explores. He is sometimes reluctant to turn back and will look up at you as if questioning whether a return to kennel is really needed. He is a gentle and handsome guy, no reactivity to any dogs or people around.”
Luther is also a day trip rockstar who enjoyed a day out on the town watching a soccer game, playing with toys, and being spoiled with lots of treats!
“Luther is a sweet potato! He loves head scritches and enjoys hanging out at home with you and going on short, leisurely strolls. He is easy to walk, politely asked for pets by gently resting his head on the couch, and showed off his goofy, playful side with some toys. He rode nicely in the car (needed help getting in) and he was a well behaved, laid back and mellow pup in our home. Luther is a sweet, well-mannered, and chill boy who enjoys human attention but is not clingy. He would be a great companion.”
Luther was a bit timid when he first arrived at the shelter, but these days his personality is shining! He may need a bit of time to adjust to his future home, but he’s as loving as they come and just needs someone to give him a chance! Luther has shared his kennel and has been playful, social, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Please ask to meet Luther today!
