My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pearl: Your Tiny Autumn Treasure

Pearl might be small-just 12 pounds of pure sweetness-but she's got a heart as big as a harvest moon! This little lady is the perfect mix of charm and sass, ready to leaf her mark on your heart.

She's great with her doggie roommates, whether it's sharing toys or snuggling up after a brisk walk through the crunchy fall leaves. And friendly? Oh, you bet-Pearl's the kind of gal who'd happily join you at the pumpkin patch, strut her stuff in a doggy sweater, and graciously accept compliments (and belly rubs, of course).

Pearl's dream? A cozy home with a family to love and maybe a lap to curl up on after a long day of being ridiculously adorable. If you're ready to spice up your fall with the sweetest little companion, Pearl is waiting to meet you!

Adopt Pearl today and make this fall unforgettable!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
