I am a vet tech for an emergency and critical care clinic. The beginning of March, Athena presented to my clinic for having 2 seizures. The owner at the time elected to euthanize her without trying to treat the seizures, that is when I stepped in and offer to take her. I ran blood work which came back normal. We started her on medication to control the seizures. For anyone that is unfamiliar, seizures are very manageable in dogs, Athena is now on a medication twice daily and has been seizure free since! I’m am more than willing to go into depth detail and provide all of her medical documents to the family that wishes to adopt her! She is very very sweet and lovable. She has a very goofy personality and absolutely loves the other dogs I have in the home! The only reason I am looking for a new family is because I currently live with roommates and there are too many dogs in the household but I wanted to give her a fighting chance.
