Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lola is a 70-pound, 18-month-old, sleek and glossy, chocolate terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
She loves walks and is super cuddly and loving with her humans.
Found as an emaciated stray on Thanksgiving day in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, she landed in the home of an animal lover who has been giving her the TLC and training she needed. She had no tags, collar, or microchip, and her humans never came to claim her.
She now knows the command sit and loves to fetch, although she's not big on returning the ball.
Lola is perfectly housebroken and loves to sleep in bed with her foster parents or on the couch.
She’s looking for someone to take her into their home and heart. She is smart, athletic and loving and would do great in a training class to help her bond with her new family.
Lola is now extremely healthy, spayed, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper. Fecal and heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative.
Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Lola, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet her by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
She’s currently being fostered in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood.
