URGENT Eli needs a Forever Foster home immediately!!!!
We recently rescued sweet senior Eli from a local shelter when his family did not reclaim him. He did overall well for his senior exam and testing but sadly our vet determined Eli has Mast Cell Cancer. Given this diagnosis we are looking for a Forever Foster for Eli. A Forever Foster commits to love and care for a dog until his time comes and we pay all the related medical through our vets to insure Eli and dogs like Eli get the best palliative care. We are hoping to find a family that will give Eli nothing but love (and maybe a little spoiling) for whatever time he has left. Currently Eli is not exhibiting any signs of decline. Eli is a 10 year old 80 pound lab. He is blind and likely deaf. Nevertheless he does well in a home, being housebroken and learning the lay of the land quickly. Eli loves human attention and seems fine around other dogs (although he is likely past the playing with other dogs stage). Eli doesn’t need much in a home. Just a soft bed, some easy walks or a sunny back yard to putter around in and a human or two to love throughout the day. If you can open your heart and your home to Eli, email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org Eli is located in Southern California.
