Meet Kimber,

Kimber is a sweet and shy beauty who thrives in the company of other cats. While she can be cautious around new people and loves predictability, her affectionate side shines through when she feels secure. With her adorable little voice and big yell when it’s time to eat, Kimber will steal your heart.

She has a playful spirit, often running up and down the hall and jumping for wand toys. Kimber loves watching birds and squirrels from the window, finding this activity more captivating than any TV show.

Kimber was isolated as a kitten due to ringworm, so she has slowly socialized over time. She would thrive with an experienced adopter who is patient and can give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home. She will do well with adults and teenage children. She tends to bond closely with one cat friend at a time, so she'll need to be adopted into a home with another friendly resident cat to keep her company.

Kimber prefers a quiet and predictable environment. She doesn’t like loud noises and will make a quick exit if things get too noisy, like during coffee grinding or thunderstorms. While she isn’t a lap cat and doesn’t enjoy being picked up, she will surprise you with her affectionate moments when she comes to you for pets.

This beautiful lady quickly discovered she could survey her world, and not miss any activity, from the eagle's nest at the top of the cat tree. Then she discovered all the birds and squirrels that visit the porch, and she was thrilled. She keeps a close eye out for porch invaders protecting the household!

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
