😻Adoptable😻
Sterling - 1 ½ year old blue point, siamese mix, male.
This charming young fellow loves to perch himself on the highest points of his foster home, and show off his beauty, like a trophy. This trophy cat has a gorgeous gray and cream coat, and has striking, ocean blue eyes that will enjoy judging your life's choices from afar. And yes, he will be proud that he is probably the best life choice you’ve made. Sterling is an affectionate guy who will welcome you when you enter the door, and show you how much he’s missed you. He enjoys snuggle time on the couch, but is not clingy, and also likes his alone time. Sterling gets along with other cats, tolerates the presence of small dogs, but prefers not to engage with them, and he does well with older respectful children. His favorite pastime is to look out the window, sleep on the furniture, and to wrestle around with his foster brothers.
-Sterling would do well in a multi-pet home with proper introduction. He needs another feline peer close to his age to play with because when he gets in play mode. He really gets enthusiastic about it!
A quieter home would be ideal since loud noises tend to startle him, and he will hide. He would do well in a home with older cat savvy children.
Whenever we post Siamese we get an onslaught of interest and applications but it’s very important that we get the right household dynamic fit for this particular cat.
WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity based rescue with our kittens health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens.

*****ADOPTION LOCATION:*****
By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home.
APPLICATION:
Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match.
INTERVIEW:
An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time.
APPROVAL:
If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files.
TIME FRAME:
Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days.
WHY:
Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
