My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little guy just keeps getting overlooked by potential adopters.  Roscoe is a sweet, 11 year old, 20 pound, Terrier mix (best guess) that still has plenty of years left with his small size and breed mix.  It’s so sad that Roscoe is left waiting for a forever home when he is such a fun little companion.  He has a calm temperament but gets excited, in a good way, when you get back home to him!  Roscoe loves people however, young children do make him nervous.  He gets along with other dogs, likes to go for walks, will happily sit on the couch and hang out…and loves to snuggle!  Roscoe is housetrained but has a condition where he “leaks” and needs to wears a male-wrap which takes care of the problem.  But, going outside frequently for potty breaks also helps with his situation, so he would love a home where he is not left alone for hours.  He is a perfect dog for retired people, empty nesters or just someone who is a homebody and would enjoy a devoted companion.  There are many adopters out there that just love the sweet senior dogs, you know who you are.  At this point in their lives, they don’t want much from us…just love.  If you want to know more about Roscoe, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.
