Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MILO is in New England and is available for meet and greets with approved adopters!
MILO is a freckle-nosed guy who is very intelligent. MILO is guy who loves to be the "dog of the house" but is cool with canine roommates, so long as they respect his need for space while eating and an experienced dog owner who can introduce appropriately and set boundaries with him. Because he likes predictability, we suspect MILO should be in a home without little ones. MILO likes to decompress at home, getting belly rubs, chewing his bone and snuggling with his people.
MILO absolutely loves his toys, especially his bones. He is a huge fan of the car and car rides - he likes to sit in the car and watch the comings and goings of people in the neighborhood. MILO will keep himself entertained with a Kong filled with peanut butter or a lick mat, followed by a belly rub and a snooze.
MILO is 100% house-trained and he walks great on a leash. He is not reactive to other animals while walking, which means you won't end up dragged behind this guy chasing a squirrel. MILO is still a pup who will need some minor training tweaks but he loves like no one else!

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
