Birthday: August 25, 2023 Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Domestic Shorthair Traits: Good with other cats, older kids (unknown with dogs) Fee: $50 for just him. He comes vet checked, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, negative for FIV/FELV and dewormed!

About Me : Sonic and 15 other cats were dropped off at Lakes Animal Clinic in Antioch on a cold and rainy night. We don’t know anything about his previous life, but we do know that he is happy and safe now. After being abandoned, Sonic was slow to adjust to his new environment, but after love and treats, he is very loving and asks for attention! Sonic is still young and very playful! Sonic absolutely loves to play with string toys and catnip while interacting with his favorite human! He needs to go to a home that will continue to work with him so he thrives! His adoption fee has been lowered to help find him a home that is willing to take the time to continue to work with him, and let him know everything is okay.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

In order to meet/play with the cats/kittens an approved application is required. Approved applications are good for up to 6 months.

2.
Interview

Some cats/kittens require a meet and greet, but some cats/kittens can go home as soon as the application is approved! (By appointment)

3.
Take the Pet Home

After paperwork is filled out the adoption process is complete and you can take home your new cat or kitten!

Additional adoption info

We require an approved application in order to meet the cats and kittens in our care. That includes our off site adoption locations. If your application is approved you can meet the cats in our care at their foster home or Best Pets in Antioch IL.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to help end cat homelessness by adopting cats to suitable homes while educating on the importance of spaying and neutering.
At Gutter Cat Adoptions we believe all cats, even those found in the gutter, deserve the best care, nutrition and most of all a home!

Adoption Fees:
Young kittens: $250 for one or $350 for two
Older Kittens: $200 for one or $300 for two
Adult Cats: $150 for one or $250 for two

Currently the majority of our funding comes from adoption fees. All our our adoption fee's help cover cost of running a rescue such as medical bills, food, litter, enrichment, cleaning supplies and more!
