My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, Rainy here! I am a pretty, 2-year-old girl that came from a shelter in Upper Peninsula with my brother Scooby in search of a fresh start! We sadly came from a neglectful family and found ourselves homeless. We had been at that shelter for a little while, but unfortunately did not get a whole lot of interest, so it was decided that maybe we should be transferred here to hopefully find a forever home! But we again have found misfortune and neither of us have lucked out on finding a home to call our own yet. We are really trying to not let that get us down, but it is tough. We really do not like shelter life. The dogs overwhelm us, and we find ourselves getting increasingly frustrated the longer we are here, which is really unfortunate because we really are such great dogs! I am smart, treat-motivated, love a good roll in the grass, and would do great in a home with older kids that don't mind a big, strong dog! I have my fair share if energy, but I also would not mind a good cuddle session here and there either! I get along well with my brother, but I have a hard time getting along with any of the dogs here. It definitely could be the environment though, so I may be able to share a home with another dog in the future if it is the right fit. Scooby and I are not a bonded pair, but if you're willing to have twice the fun, we would love to find a forever home in the same place! Think I could be the perfect match for you? I would love to break free from this place for good! Ask to meet me at the shelter!
