My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This animal is a Courtesy Post. We are working with the owner to rehome Shio.

The owner would like for you to still submit an application with us to adopt Shio.

The Furry Paws Foster Inn cannot guarantee the vetting that the owner has done for Shio and it would be up to the new adopter to obtain these records from the current owner.

Below you will find the bio for Shio by the owner:

Shio is a shy and cautious boy, but after he opens up to you he'll follow you around like a shadow! He's super vocal and will definitely have a conversation with you. He loves to play, and will happily interact with you with wand toys or chase balls you throw. He loves to get pets (especially on his head and butt) and is starting to like belly rubs and will ask for them. However, he doesn't like being picked up (but will tolerate it) and isn't much of a cuddler, so if you're looking for a lap cat he isn't it. He's a superstar with the litterbox and has never had an accident. He also has no interest in going outside and has never attempted to get out the door. Because he is so shy and cautious we do not recommend that he goes to a house with children or dogs (loud noises and sudden movements do spook him). We'd recommend some experience with cats since it takes a while for him to open up to new people.

More about this rescue

The Furry Paws Foster Inn is a very small based rescue.
We mainly help stray kittens get off the streets and into loving homes. Sometimes friendly adult cats and dogs do come through the inn looking for homes themselves.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We work diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered that comes through the inn. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care
