My story
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Major! I love this dog!
Major is an adorable young man who is approximately 11 months old and currently weighs 38 pounds. He was found on the side of the road with his two brothers in south Texas near the border of Mexico. The puppies were starving, covered with fleas and ticks and were just in terrible condition. They have come a very long way and are doing great now!
Major is a happy, playful puppy, with eyes that shine! He loves everyone he meets and is always ready for adventure! He has the best time playing with his toys and enjoys romping around the play yard exploring with his brothers and the other dogs in his play group. He has the sweetest temperament! Major is a smart boy we can really see him doing well in any family environment.

Major is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Geneva, Illinois on October 12th with an approved application! Adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost.
*Major tested positive for Chagas disease and has started his treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
