My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rio! This adorable 9 year old girl is very ready to find her forever home! Rio is good with other dogs and has previously lived with small dogs. She loves kids and is hours-trained too! She walks great on-leash and is full of personality. She has a nice, medium energy and is pretty quiet and easy-going. She is house-ready! Come meet this fun girl at our shelter.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Step 1 is to fill out our ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once that is complete, we will contact you within 24-48 hours.

2.

Home Check

We will be looking for a safe, secure, happy & healthy environment where a dog will thrive as a part of your family.

3.

Meet the Pet

If you have any other animals, we assist with introductions to make sure that they all get along. If all these things go good, that’s it!

More about this rescue

Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs (i.e. American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers, etc.). We are here to provide a healthy and loving temporary home while we look for forever homes for our shelter dogs. We are one of the only breed-specific, no-kill rescues with an actual kennel-facility in California. We house over 45 adult dogs at our facility (with many more puppies and adults in foster homes). Our pet adoption program and support is tailored to help find you the best match for your family and start it off right! We are a 501 (c) (3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible.
