Duchess is outgoing and super friendly. She will wrap you around her sweet paw so fast you won’t know what hit you. Duchess loves going on hikes or just everyday walks with her person. She loves splashing around in creeks, or walking on a nature trail, or walking around the block. She’s a happy go lucky girl. She loves her adult humans and has been gentle and sweet with children. She likes other dogs her size. We don’t know about small dogs. She has not been introduced to cats and she does not like chickens. Other than that she just has a fantastic personality that says ‘I’m your buddy, I’m a good girl, I just want to be loved and I want to love you.’

Duchess was rescued from an abusive situation last year and was quickly adopted. However, now her person is sick and no longer able to give her the life she deserves. Duchess is a 4 yr old Rottie. Her ideal weight is approximately 80lbs but her person has spoiled her and she now weighs approximately 90 lbs. She is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm free, spayed. She is housebroken. She has some obedience training but needs training on leash walking.

Duchess will be adopted to an inside only forever home only. Must own home. No rentals please. Fence required. References, vet checks, and home check required. Adoption donation of $300 will be used to help other dogs in need.
