Ziggy is a 5-year-2-month old Siberian Husky weighing 70 pounds. He came to the shelter due to his owner no longer being able to care for him. If you've never had a husky please do your homework before adopting one! Ziggy is friendly with everyone he meets. Treat motivated. Knows commands sit & shake. He loves to go on walks. His favorite toys here at the shelter are stuffed toys with squeakers. He absolutely loves to cuddle with people! Does well when being brushed. Rarely barks here at the shelter. Does well on car rides. Does not like visiting the veterinarian...at all! He doesn't know his own size so small children are not recommended.
His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00.
Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
