Meet Bo: The Golden Mix Master of Fun!

Hey there, potential forever family! My name is Bo and I am a 5-year-old male dog, currently in search of a new home. You see, I was found as a stray, but don't let that fool you. I may have been wandering the streets, but I am ready to settle down and be your loyal companion!

Let's talk appearance first. People often comment on my striking good looks, and I must admit, I do have a certain charm about me. I am a Golden mix, but I like to think I'm one of a kind. My coat is soft and fluffy, perfect for cuddles.

Now, onto the important stuff: my personality. I've been called an alpha, but really, I just know what I want and go after it. I may be independent, but I am also a constant companion. Whether you're lounging on the couch or going on a hike, I'll be by your side, ready for some fun.

Speaking of fun, let's talk activity level. I am a ball of energy, always ready to play and explore. I hope you have a backyard for me to run around in, or maybe we can take long walks together. I promise to keep you on your toes and make life more exciting!

I must mention, I am a bit selective when it comes to other dogs. I prefer to be the only furry friend in the household, but I am more than enough to keep you entertained, I promise.

More about this rescue

A.C.A. is a network of foster homes, an entity formed to help animals from Evansville Vanderburgh Animal Care and Control. Most of the animals in our foster care program have all come directly from EVACC.

We choose to pull from EVACC because of the thousands of great animals that come through the shelter each year. Thousands of cats and dogs (and some chickens, horses, and small furries) are relinquished to the shelter each year. Some are given up by owners, victims of hard times, or new living circumstances. A larger portion have come in as strays, found on the streets of Evansville, held for 7 days at the shelter for an owner to reclaim them, and then given a very short period of time in which to find an adoptive home before the kennel is needed again for the next animal that comes in.
