Hi! My name is Clover, and I am a friendly, playful, talkative kitty. I was left outside of ARNO in my carrier, who I am so grateful took me in for 6 months until I found my foster home! I have completely flourished in my foster home, and I know that I would be your next amazing bestie!
While I am 3 years old, you would never know! I am small, except when I stretch out after a big nap. My stretches are very impressive! I also loveeeee to play, play, play all day long! I like to play with just about anything. My toys of course, but also hair ties, napkins, human fingers, shoe laces, really anything. I am pretty good with sharing my toys, except with my favorite feather fish today. That fish is MINE! I love to leap, grab, tug and somersault to catch my favorite fish toy. My foster mom loves that once I catch my toy, I proudly strut away with the fish in my mouth with a puffed out chest and high tail to go and enjoy my prize!
My love language truly is quality time. I will follow you all around the house from room to room all while chatting with you very loudly. I love to chat! I’ll keep you company while you cook, lounge with you on the couch, sleep next to you while you work from home, and even follow you to the bathroom! You know that I love you when I take my breaks from playing and exploring to give you some head nudges and plop down next to you in a ball and ask for back scratches.
While I am very happy as long as I am with you, the only thing that makes me a high maintenance kitty is my love for running water! I am always very hydrated with my water fountain, and will even ask you to turn on the bathroom faucet for me.
I know that we could be the best of friends, so come meet me!

Dogs:
Puppies under 6 months – $300 Adult dogs (6 months – 7 years) – $250 Seniors (8 years and older) – $200
Cats:
Adults (1 year and older) – 1 for $125 / 2 for $200 Kittens (under 1 year) – 1 for $175 / 2 for $250
For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.

We set up a meet and greet once there is an approved application.

Take the Pet Home
When the pet goes home you would sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

1. a completed adoption application that will be reviewed, along with references from your current and past veterinarian
2. a home visit/yard check is scheduled with you
3. once the app. is approved, there is a final review to make sure the pet you are choosing is right for you, your family, and/or your lifestyle.
4. you meet your approved pet(s)
5. adopters sign a contract stating that the animal will be kept healthy through regular visits to your veterinarian, continue on heartworm & flea medication for the rest of the pet's life, and that if you ever have to surrender the pet they will only be returned to ARNO or their agent
6. contract also states that if you fail to comply with any or all of the contract ARNO has the right to take possession of the pet

Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) is an organization created for and dedicated to the rescue and aid of abandoned and homeless animals in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. ARNO's response includes, but is not limited to, immediate medical needs, as well as rescue of those animals who have been neglected, abused and deprived of loving care. ARNO promotes the foster, adoption, and reunion of pets with their original caretakers, as well as spaying/neutering of all companion animals.
