Cinder is a very special cat that we rescued when she was pregnant, from behind my house. She has been with us for a while now, and we are actively looking for a family to take her home. Cinder is a unique cat - she is indoor/outdoor, with a preference for going outside. I believe in a calmer household Cinder may want to be in an indoor-only household. She adores our dogs more than anything but is not a fan of all the cats/kittens running around the house. She tolerates them but would prefer to hang with the dogs. She is capable of using the litter box if she chooses, but she also enjoys doing her business outside. She will even come on our dog walks during the day and follow her dog friends anywhere.
Cinder has a typical tortie attitude and thinks she is the queen of her castle. She doesn't like being picked up for long periods, but she will tolerate it if you move her grumpily. She will rumble at you though! Cinder will take a few pets but then would rather you just marvel at her gorgeous face and respect the beautiful artwork.

Since we don't have a single physical location we do meet and greets by appointment only. Our meet and greets will be held at a local vet clinic in Colleyville where you will get to meet the kittens you selected to see.

Rainbow Kitten Rescue is an independent rescue based out of Dallas Texas, just a passionate vet tech looking to give back to the community. Our goal is to take some of the strain off shelters and larger rescues, helping wherever we can. I advocate for spaying/neuter and will occasionally assist with TNVR but we are mainly here as a foster home to help kittens adjust to new lives eventually. We provide a dog and cat-filled home to ensure our fosters are comfortable with all types of pets. We love our adopters with canine friends!
