Little miss Shania might just be the sweetest girl you will ever meet! This pretty golden girl came to us from Turkey after losing her home and family in a horrible earthquake last year. Fortunately our rescuer took her in, and now she is safe with us ready to start her new life.

Shania is approximately 2 years old and 54 lbs. Her favorite things are to cuddle with her people and have her belly rubbed…oh and to sleep in bed with her people! She will happily give you paw, too. She is great with other dogs, does well on leash and loves her walks and adventures. She would also do ok with a dog-savvy cat and supervision. She has learned the joy of toys, so a big toy basket with plushies and balls will definitely be a requirement!

She quickly learned how to use the doggie door at her foster home and hasn’t had any potty accidents while in foster care. She does great in the car, too. She will put her paws up on the counter looking for goodies, but is easily corrected and learns fast.

Shania is looking for someone who will give her the cuddling she wants, and take her on fun walks and adventures. A doggie playmate would be a bonus.
