Hello there! I'm Bernadette, a shy little bunny with a lionhead coat that's as unique as my personality. Before finding my way to Rabbit Rescue of Minnesota, I lived a quiet life as a show bunny confined to a small cage. Sadly, my previous family didn't see the beauty in my fluffy coat, so they decided they didn't want me anymore. But let me tell you, everyone here at the rescue can't stop complimenting how gorgeous my fur is, especially when I'm snuggled up with my bond mate, Jett! We are best friends, so we must be adopted together.
Life has been quite the adventure for me. I'm still a bit nervous around new people, but I've made incredible progress. During the day, you'll often find me playing the role of supervisor while Jett explores. My absolute favorite pastime is playing in our hidey house. We love to stand on our back legs and flip it over, sometimes even working together as a team. It's a blast! And when it's time for breakfast, I can't help but be excited. I've learned to share my food nicely, but I still don’t like to share my vitamin – it’s my favorite!
Speaking of food – cilantro is my absolute favorite, but I'm also quite the connoisseur of carrots and fruits as treats. Foster mom says I have to pace myself, but if it were up to me, I'd munch on them all day long. I've also become quite the expert at hay eating, which is great for my teeth. As for litter training, I'm pretty good at it.
When it comes to sharing my space, I'm happiest with Jett by my side. I haven't been around other animals like cats and dogs, and I have a feeling they're not really my cup of tea. That's why I think I'd do best in a quiet home without any kids, where Jett and I can continue our adventures together, flipping hidey houses and munching on cilantro to our hearts' content.
So, if you're looking for a pair of adorable bunnies to join your family, look no further! Jett and I are ready to hop into our forever home together.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
