My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aslan is a handsome, happy go-lucky 10 month old Shepherd mix looking for love! This sweet boy was adopted from us as a puppy and brought back as a young adult when his owner went through some life changes and could no longer afford to keep him. Aslan should do well in a home with other friendly dogs and kids however he is a big boy and may knock kids down if he gets too excited! He will need a home where the owner will continue his training as he is very strong on leash!
Aslan is one good looking boy and we know he is going to make his new owner proud! Come meet this silly doggo, he will make you laugh will his goofy antics!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
