Hello humans, my name is Elf and I am here to tell you about myself. I am a three year old hound mix. My story is a little different than most, please stick around to hear it. I came to the shelter as a stray that had to be trapped in a dog trap. I had been running around one of the local roads with no owners to be found before I was finally caught. The people here at the shelter have came to the conclusion that I either did not have a very good relationship with humans or did not have a relationship at all. The reason they are thinking this is because I do not like to be very close to people. The only time that I will come around is when another dog is around. I do very well with other dogs and they help show me the ropes a little bit. I would love to go to a home with another dog or two that I can play with and learn from. Also, the people at the shelter are requiring that I have a fenced in yard at my new home. I need someone that will have patience with me while I am learning how to be a companion animal. If you are willing to give me a chance and help me learn, please come and meet me!
