Hey ladies and gents! My name is Walnut! I am a 3 year old female hound. I don't want to brag about myself, but personally I think I am an amazing dog. If you're looking for a more laidback girl to add to your family, then I am the dog for you! I love to go on walks, I like playing with other dogs, and one of my best qualities is that I am an amazing hugger. Many people love to get hugs from me and the people here at the shelter come to get them everyday. I have been here at the shelter since December 4, 2023 which makes me one of the longest residents here. I would love to be able to find someone that would take me home. Don't get me wrong, the people here make sure that I have a good life, but a couch life is definitely something that would be a step up. If you are interested in experiencing my hugs for yourself, please let the people at the shelter know or stop by Monday through Friday from 9am until 4pm. I really look forward to meeting you!
