Brandy will age like fine wine! She is a 1 yr old Rottweiler/lab mix; a loving and affectionate dog still maintaining her puppy energy and enthusiasm. She will need further leash manners and obedience training. We recommend a home with 14+ kids and up, without cats, and believe she could do well with other dogs in the home with the right introduction, as well as continued training and love. This sweet and silly girl was abandoned by her owners and needs a new loving family, so who is willing to have a glass of Brandy?

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
