My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stormy a 3 1/2 yo Australian Shepherd that has faced many challenges in her life. As a result, she finds herself in need of a very special family who will understand this and work with her. Stormy loves people and is great with kids. She is not a fan of cats or dogs, especially smaller ones. She has had negative encounters with them, and now faces and restrictions placed on her. Stormy‘s new home must have 6 foot fences and in public and outside of the home she is required to wear a muzzle. Stormy is a sweet girl who thrives with people and is looking for her person. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

More about this rescue

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
