Everyone knows cookies make the world a better place. When you spend a little time with our sweet Cookie, you’ll know just how true that is. Cookie is a happy, playful girl. She is super people friendly, and would be happy to live with children that are a little older, but she would like to be the only pet in the home. She knows her basic commands and with consistency, she will be able to show you the smart cookie that she is. She is working on her leash manners which will be important to continue since she is a strong girl. She enjoys walks and hikes, especially in quiet, low dog traffic areas so she can enjoy exploring. The key to happiness is to surround yourself with Cookie.

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
