Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cali is a three year old terrier mix who has been through so much in her short life. She is shy at first especially with new people, but little by little she is gaining confidence and letting her personality show. She is energetic and knows basic commands. She likes to walk and has good leash manners. She is enjoying exploring new places and the world around her. She would do best with an experienced dog owner and teens or older kids who could be patient and give her the time she needs. She would be happy to live with another dog but please no cats. Don’t look at her and just see a shy girl, look at her and see the girl she can be with love and time

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
