Igneous came into foster care as a feral kitten when he was about 10 weeks old. He was very shy and scared to begin with but has made great progress since then. While sometimes he will shy away when you reach for him, other times he’ll arch his back into your hand. He loves to sleep on the bed with his person and he enjoys the company of other cats. He can be vocal sometimes, but in a cute way!

More about this rescue

We are a rescue group on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that fosters cats and kittens in our homes until they are ready to be adopted. All our fosters are spayed or neutered, SNAP tested, given meds for fleas and parasites and have all shots that are age appropriate. We put our adoptable pets in Petsmart for the public to interact with and to fill out adoption paperwork. We are a nonprofit organization that operates with a staff of volunteers that manage the adoption center at Petsmart, staff shows and adoptathons throughout the year and take homeless cats and kittens into their homes until they are ready for adoption. We are totally dependent on grants and donations to cover our expenses for our foster cats.
