TAYLOR is a 10 month old, female mixed breed youngster who came to us from an overcrowding situation. Such dogs are usually under socialized. The fastest path to rehabilitation was to enroll her in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. The program is equipped to handle obedience training and the development of social skills. She has now graduated but while there, her inmate covered a lot of ground. She is crate, leash and house trained. She can do sit, stay, down and come. At this age, she still has puppy in her. So the best of both worlds! Her current weight is 40 lbs and she shouldn't get much larger. And yes, our Taylor is just like her "Swifty" namesake. She's got quite a voice and loves to be the center of attention.
Her perfect fit family will be one that has plenty of time to give her. If you like a "velcro" kind of dog, look no further. More than anything, she seeks and thrives on human companionship. She travels well in the car and will go anywhere with you. She's fine with other dogs and cats too if introduced properly.
If interested in adopting, our process begins with submission of our application. Please visit our website at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com and Additional adoption FAQ's can be found here also. Meets will be set with approved applicants based on our "best family fit" approach.
Thank you!
