TAYLOR is a 7 month old, female mixed breed youngster who came to us from an overcrowding situation. Just one of many, Taylor was fortunate enough to participate in our Paws Behind Bars program where she received the one-on-one companionship every dog needs.
Taylor had a blast in the prison! She bunked up with her inmate and another, very mature, older male dog Nico. She can be a spirited young thing (what teenage girl isnt?). Her other "bestie" in the prison program was Nala, a 3 year old great dane mix. With a new mother & father "dog" on board, Taylor grew up greatly in the last three months. She learned composure and the meaning of boundaries. She mastered basic obedience training. And true to her namesake, she entertained many. Our Taylor is just like her "Swifty" namesake. She's got quite a voice and loves to be the center of attention.
Her perfect fit family will be one that has plenty of time to give her. Such social dogs are well equipped to handle alot of time away from the family. She's great with other dogs and would be fine with cats if introduced properly.
