Hi there, I’m Lyle! I’m a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix with a brain as big as my heart. People say I’m super smart—and they’re not wrong! I’ve got a knack for problem-solving, and I’ve been known to open my kennel at the shelter lickety-split with just a swipe of my nose. The staff had to clip it shut, but hey, can you blame me for showing off my skills?

Life is better when I’m with my favorite humans and my best buddy, Milo. Milo and I are a dynamic duo, though some think I’m the sidekick. Spoiler alert: I’m actually the one in charge! I love leading the pack during walks to make sure everyone’s together and safe. Being the responsible one is kind of my thing.

I’m a big fan of people—especially kids! I thrive on love, playtime, and mental challenges. I do have a discerning taste in dog friends, though, so a little patience is key while I find my crew. Long, boring days without company aren’t for me; they make me anxious. I need a family who understands my need for adventure and stimulation.
