Rye is a mellow and affectionate senior Pit Bull who’s looking for a loving home to enjoy his golden years ??. He’s a laid-back guy who loves his walks and craves affection from his human friends.
Personality:
Mellow and Laid Back: Rye is easygoing and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle.
Walks: He likes going on walks and is observant of his surroundings on the trail. While he initially pulls on the leash, he does settle down and only pulls when he sees other dogs.
Affectionate: Rye loves to be petted and enjoys spending time with his humans.
Gentle with Treats: He takes treats gently and knows how to sit on command.
Car Friendly: Rye is great in the car and is a good travel companion.
Playful: He likes balls and enjoys a bit of playtime, though he’s not overly active.
Playgroup Behavior:
Rye is selective with other dogs and becomes reactive in the yard. He may redirect onto other dogs and over-correct when another dog humps him. He would do best in a home where he can be the only pet or with very careful introductions to other dogs.
Looking For:
Rye would thrive in a quiet home where he can enjoy his walks, receive plenty of affection, and relax in a calm environment. He’s a sweet, easygoing companion who will bring a lot of love and joy to the right family.
