Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SHERLOCK is a 1.5-year-old male, catahoula/cattle dog mix but that's just the start! If you want to take a guess at the "mix" piece? Whatever you guess, you'll be right as there are no less than 17 in this happy little body! He is full grown and weighs 45 pounds, He is neutered,microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventative.

SHERLOCK is very outgoing, and good with other young dogs that match his energy level.
Sherlock's perfect family should be active. A fenced in yard is necessary so he can receive the proper amount of exercise. Sherlock requires a home with kids over 12yrs of age due to his energy level and zest for life. Sherlock would do best in a home without cats.

IMPORTANT: Please Keep in mind both the age and life expectancy of Sherlock. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for our rescues and the families, including a home that can stay committed to the animal for life.

Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3), No Kill Rescue focusing on the adoption of homeless pets. We are also host to "PAWS BEHIND BARS" which is a basic obedience prison training program based out of Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham County, KY.
