My personality: confident, excited about life, friendly, affectionate.
My story: I was living near a temple on Phuket Island being fed by local people. I managed to deal with the challenges and dangers that street dogs face for the first year and a half of my life. No one is sure what happened but a kind person noticed that I had injured my eye which was protruding from the socket and bleeding. They called Soi Dog Foundation for help and they picked me up and took me to the shelter for treatment. I was so grateful to the vets for the care they gave me but they were unable to save my eye. I have got used to having one eye and think it adds to my unique appearance. After having surgery to remove my eye I was kept at the shelter for safety and a year and a half after arriving I am ready to find my forever family.
My needs: as I have one eye my adopter will need to make me aware of their approach so I'm not startled, I am an energetic girl who would love to go for walks and I look forward to spending time with humans of my own.
DISCLAIMER: I am located at Soi Dog in Phuket, Thailand. Soi Dog charges no adoption fee for me and I have been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters simply need to cover the cost of my travel crate, flight(s), and Rabies Titer Test (RTT).
If you are interested in adopting me, then please inquire for further details. I woof really love it!

Soi Dog has the pet for you, whether you're looking for a dog or cat, young or senior, we will guide you through the adoption process to find the right match for your family. Thai dogs make extremely loyal and loving pets, in particular, dogs saved from tough lives on the streets and from the illegal dog meat trade, who seem to understand they've been given a second chance.
Adopting from us is one of the most effective ways to support our work as each adoption means we can free up space to help another animal in need. It’s also very meaningful to give a dog/cat the chance to feel the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Adopting a dog/cat is a fairly simple process and we take care of everything. Soi Dog charges no adoption fee and all our dogs/cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters simply need to cover the cost of the travel crate, flight(s), and Rabies Titer Test (RTT).
Please note, according to CDC regulations, any animal traveling to the US is required to have a blood sample taken for the RTT and wait 45 days from the time the sample is collected before they are allowed to travel. The animal would be able to travel with a Flight Volunteer, if available, or through Cargo.

More about this shelter
Soi Dog Foundation is a not-for-profit, legally registered charitable organization in Thailand, the United States, Australia, the UK, France, Holland, Canada and Switzerland. Soi Dog helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand, works to end the dog meat trade throughout the region, and responds to animal welfare disasters and emergencies. We aim to set an example for the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through spaying and neutering, and to better the lives and living conditions of the stray dogs and feral cats of Asia.
Soi Dog’s mission is to improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities, to create a society without homeless animals, and to ultimately end animal cruelty.
Soi Dog Foundation is fighting the Asian dog meat trade and thanks to overwhelming support from people like you, the trade has been almost completely wiped out in Thailand. We continue to campaign for an end to the trade, and carry out rescue operations in the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea and other Southeast Asian countries where it is prevalent.
Soi Dog promotes the welfare of dogs and cats for the benefit of the public by rescuing stray, abandoned, abused or surrendered animals and providing them with shelter/foster homes, food, and medical care, and by facilitating an animal adoption program for these animals.
We find permanent homes for rescued and homeless dogs and cats, providing guidance and support for the adopters, and follow up work including emergency help.
