My name is Hodge, and I'm a 2-year-old Bully mix. I’m a very sweet boy with soulful eyes that have been through a lot, and now all they long for is a forever home filled with love and warmth.

Life at the shelter has been tough for me. It's loud, it's busy, and it makes me sad. I really need a home of my own where I can feel safe and loved. I have so much love to give, and I know there's a special family out there just waiting to meet me.

I get along okay with other dogs, but it takes me a little time to warm up to them. I really prefer a low-energy dog friend who understands that sometimes I need my space. My ideal companion would be gentle and patient, just like me.

One of my favorite things to do is go on walks. There's nothing like the feeling of fresh air and the sounds of nature all around me. It’s my happy place, and I’d love to share it with you. Spending time outside makes me feel alive and joyful.
