Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kellen and Tucker are siblings fully vetted and ready to find their forever homes.
This is handsome Kellen. Three-month-old Kellen is about 15lbs, Mom is a purebred golden retriever and dad is unknown. He will probably weigh 38-45 lbs full-grown, Momma is a petite 39 lbs.
He loves other dogs of any size to play with or just hang out. Also, a big fan of water, pools, and sprinklers. He likes playing with toys, chasing balls, and belly rubs. He doesn’t mind cats, but a proper introduction would still be necessary.
Kellen has been in foster care since he was rescued, is very sociable, and loves everyone. He would do well in a home with children or active adults.
This pup is located in South Texas. Transport is available Out of State.
All adoption fees include a current negative HW test if old enough, current age-appropriate vaccines including rabies, parvo/distemper, lepto, bordetella, current heartworm, and flea/tick preventions, and dewormers.
Also included is a Health Certificate and transport costs from Texas
Please be advised that applications are reviewed in the order that they are received. The first step is to fill out an adoption application.
Application turnaround is usually about 1-3 days max, if not sooner. After you submit an application and want to send additional information or pictures of current animals/past ones in a separate email, we love that and it always helps your chances. adopt@adogswayhomear.org
About us:
A Dogs Way Home Rescue was formed in 2018 when we became aware of the extent of the incredible abuse and neglect of animals in South Texas. 2 gorgeous black dogs from our local Shelter started our journey from fostering to rescue and transport.
Our mission, with the help of our rescue partners, is to save as many as we can. Compassion, honesty, and integrity are the foundation of our efforts.
Please help us save dogs by supporting ADWH through adoption, fostering, or donations.
