This helps High Plains P.A.W. - NE Chapter with pet care costs.
Georgia aka Gigi
Located in the Sidney NE area
Birthday 11/15/21
Tibetan Spaniel fusion is our best guess, momma is Mamie
Great with other dogs
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 OTHER DOG TO CUDDLE WITH IN THE HOME NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION
Would likely be fine with cats
Kid friendly with children WITH DOG MANNERS
House trained but likely will have accidents when she moves homes
Crate trained for when her foster leaves the house, although she also stays out without destroying anything. She sleeps through the night with her foster. She is very smart and easy to motivate.
Fully vetted
12lbs approx
Gigi was from a litter of pups and for whatever reason she was completely overlooked. From the time she was a baby baby she was more interested in hanging with the adult dogs than the puppies and spent most of her time napping on the couch or various dog beds with her besties. We quickly fell in love with this 2lb girl who showed no concern cuddling up to a 70lb APBT or Saint Bernard for nap time. She is now full grown around 12 lbs with gazelle like legs, the same soulful eyes and adorable expressive ears. We thought she would be one of the first pups to get adopted, especially with how photogenic she is, however her family has alluded us so far.
As it turns out it may have been a good thing that Gigi has stayed with us longer as we have had the chance to really get to know her. Gigi is VERY SHY with people. She will need a quiet and calm home. She will need a home with people who will give her the time and love she needs to flourish.
Gigi is impossible not to love. She is playful but as she's grown she's become more independent. She can be a bit mischievous, she is just very impish in her personality, like a little silly elf. She can be a touch protective of her food but I wouldn’t say she is food reactive and likely in a home with less dogs the small protective issue will subside. We also believe that in a home with less dogs her personality will blossom even more and some of her shyness may subside. Gigi is a very sweet soul who needs a gentle and patient home to love her forever.
Gigi would LOVE a home with her momma Meep BUT we understand that that may not be possible with Gigi being she and Meep being VERY unsure around men.

HISTORY
Mamie and her 5 pups came to us from a rural Texas shelter outside Dallas. Mamie couldn't be handled and as such she and her pups needed a special place to land. This is where we came in. We pulled Mamie and her pups and they arrived in early December. They spent the holidays with us as they continued to blossom and come into their own little puppy personalities and momma Mamie settled in and let her guard down, a bit. These pups are absolutely fantastic little ones. They have the funnest personalities and are absolutely adorable!
WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY ALL OUR DOGS ARE LOCATED IN FOSTER HOMES. This means there is no place for you to go in person to view our dogs. We ask that an application be filled out and we will go from there!
We do ALLOW out of state adoptions, HOWEVER the adopter MUST pick the dog up in person and DRIVE or FLY (IN CABIN ONLY) the dog back at the adopters expense. We do NOT coordinate transport.
